Beautiful, Sheza Ramblin Flora Song B, V-Factor 45, is a 1998 half
sister to Dazzel in that both mares are sired by Songer's Ambraw
Boomer. Flora's dam is the last daughter from Ramblin Red,
Kentucky's Ramblin
Hobby.
Boomer's gift to Flora is the Shoshone's (2x's) that bring in
Blankenship Diamond with Kissee Fox, Cotham
Dare thru Ranger F-102 (2
x's), and Bill Dunn's Old Skip ( 2x's); Golden Rawhide who brings
in Golden Governor, Old Ted and Kissee Fox; Danney Boy brings the
Diamond family back in again; Danney Joe W brings Cotham Dare back
(2 x's) thru Dare's Trigger & Ginger, Blankenship Diamond thru
Daisy May, and Old Charley thru Daisy June; Golden Governor and
Old Charley show up again behind Dolly Ann W; Duncan's Fox (3x's)
brings up Mitchell's Trigger with all his rich offerings and
Danney Boy again; S A Bonnie brings the Diamond family back (2x's)
and Ramblin
Red; Little
Charlie's Duke has Old
Charley on both top and bottom and Cotham Dare again; Trixie CC
has Cotham Dare again; Walker's Merry Lad is on the 8th line.
Flora's
dam is Kentucky's Ramblin Hobby, a full sister to Maden's
Ramblin Dare-A-Lin (Dare). This gives Flora Ramblin Red and
Fanny
J as
grandparents and brings a wealth of the old saddlebred blood up
close. For more discussion on Red go to the Stallions
page
and for Fanny J go to Dare's
page.
Hobby is the Kentucky Grand Champion Yearling Model horse for
1988.
Anyway, Flora is an excellent example of the old breeding and a
natural at the fox trot. She has that wonderful disposition that
is so willing to work with her handler and I can do just anything
with her. She is a great little trail horse. She did well at the
show winning the John R Vinson Memorial class in 2001. She has
been giving riding lessons to children around 8 years old that
know nothing of horses. She just doesn't have a fault I can think
of. It is such a pleasure to look upon this little lady & she
delivers foals just as beautiful & natural as she.
